The Red Apple is a residential tower located at Wijnhaven Island in Rotterdam, Netherlands.[1] The building was topped out in 2008 and was completed in 2009.
The Red Apple is a residential tower, the "Kopblok" and a parking house. The tower is 124 metres high [2] and has 40 floors (152 apartments). It is the fourth tallest building in Rotterdam. The "Kopblok" is 53 metres high and is divided into offices and apartments (79 apartments). The ground floor is designed for shops and restaurants. The entire complex has an open fiber network.
The Red Apple is designed by KCAP Architects & Planners and Jan des Bouvrie. KCAP the exterior design, the layout of the Des Bouvrie homes. Especially with the red design is the staggered aluminium facade.
